1) Program Overview
The VerifiedPep Referral Program ("Program") lets approved participants ("Referrers") share a unique referral link with their audience. When a new customer places their first order through that link, the Referrer earns store credit as described below.
The Program is operated under a single reward model: first-time buyers receive an automatic 10% welcome discount on their first order, and the Referrer earns 10% of that order's subtotal as store credit, released as soon as the buyer's payment confirms. There are no tiers, multi-level payouts, or cash rewards.
2) Eligibility
- You must be at least 21 years of age and a qualified research professional.
- You must be a resident of the United States. International participation is not permitted at this time.
- You must hold a VerifiedPep account in good standing before submitting a referral application.
- Your audience must consist primarily of adults aged 21+ who have a legitimate research interest in the products. This standard is deliberately stricter than the general site minimum.
- VerifiedPep reserves the sole discretion to approve, decline, suspend, or terminate any Referrer without cause.
3) How You Earn
- You earn 10% of the referred buyer's first-order subtotal as store credit. Subtotal excludes shipping, taxes, and any discounts applied to the order.
- Credit is earned on the buyer's first order only. Subsequent orders from the same buyer do not generate additional credit.
- Earned credit is released to your available balance as soon as the buyer's payment confirms. If the buyer's order is cancelled before payment confirms (admin cancel or no-payment-received auto-cancel), the pending credit is reversed automatically.
- Attribution uses a 60-day last-click cookie. If a buyer clicks multiple referral links in the 60-day window, the most recent click wins.
- There is no retroactive attribution. Orders placed before a buyer clicks your link will never be credited to you.
- Store credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred, assigned, or sold.
4) How You Spend Credit
- Store credit may be applied at checkout, up to a maximum of 25% of your order subtotal. Credit above that cap remains on your balance for future orders.
- Store credit cannot be stacked with other discount codes or promotional offers on the same order.
- Unused credit rolls forward indefinitely unless your account is terminated or suspended for cause.
- Credit may only be used on the account that earned it. It is not transferable between accounts.
5) FTC Disclosure Requirement
Federal Trade Commission rules require that you clearly disclose your participation in the Program whenever you share your referral link. The disclosure must be easy to notice, in the same medium as the link itself, and should not be buried in fine print, hashtags, or click-to- expand text.
Example disclosure: “I may earn store credit if you use my link.”
For video content (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, livestreams, and similar formats), the disclosure must appear both verbally in the audio AND visibly in the on-screen caption or description. Written posts require a clear text disclosure adjacent to the link. Failure to disclose may result in immediate suspension or termination from the Program.
6) Brand Rules
- No impersonation. You may not pose as VerifiedPep, its employees, or its officers. You must be clearly identifiable as an independent third party.
- No cookie stuffing. Automated clicks, iframe injection, redirect loops, forced clicks, or any mechanism that fires a click without the visitor's knowledge are prohibited.
- No paid search on brand terms. You may not bid on “VerifiedPep,” “Verified Pep,” or confusable variants in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any other paid search platform.
- No trademark misuse. You may not use the VerifiedPep name, logo, or product marks in domain names, social handles, or ad creative in a way that suggests official affiliation.
- No spam. Unsolicited email blasts, SMS blasts, forum spam, and comment-section spam are prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
7) Reversals & Clawbacks
VerifiedPep may reverse pending credit or claw back released credit in any of the following cases:
- The referred order is refunded, canceled, or disputed via chargeback.
- The order is found to be fraudulent, self-referred, or otherwise in violation of these terms.
- The Referrer's account is terminated for cause.
- Duplicate attribution, cookie manipulation, or other fraud is detected.
Reversed credit is deducted from your available or pending balance. If your available balance is insufficient, the remainder is recorded as a negative balance that future credit will offset.
8) Audience Age Requirement
Your audience must be 21+. This standard is stricter than the 18+ floor used by some affiliate programs and reflects the age requirement to purchase on VerifiedPep. If your audience skews younger, you are not eligible for the Program. We reserve the right to audit audience demographics at any time and terminate Referrers whose audiences do not meet this requirement.
9) No Medical or Therapeutic Claims
All VerifiedPep products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only. When promoting the Program you may not make, imply, or share any claim that VerifiedPep products:
- Treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease;
- Are suitable for human or veterinary administration;
- Produce weight loss, muscle growth, healing, cognitive improvement, or other therapeutic outcomes in humans;
- Are substitutes for FDA-approved medications or physician care.
Referrers who make therapeutic claims will be terminated immediately and any pending or released credit will be forfeited.
10) Suspension & Termination
VerifiedPep may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, without limitation, violation of any term in this document, fraud, misrepresentation, chargebacks, regulatory complaints, brand damage, and violation of VerifiedPep's general Terms & Conditions. Upon termination, pending credit may be forfeited and released credit may be clawed back if tied to fraudulent activity.
11) Data Privacy
Referral clicks, attribution data, and earned credit are stored in VerifiedPep's systems and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Referrers see aggregated click and conversion counts on their dashboard but do not see the personal information of referred buyers.
